Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathaniel Forrester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Romanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Forrester's entrance music is The Rooster by Alice and Chains. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Romanov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Romanov throws a sloppy head kick and Forrester moves out of range easily.
Forrester lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Igor Romanov has been cut.
Sloppy strikes from Forrester. Those never looked like landing.
No joy there for Forrester, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Romanov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Forrester.
Forrester throws a push kick but Romanov slaps the foot to one side.
Romanov throws a right hand that Forrester ducks under and follows up with a left that Forrester also avoids with ease.

Forrester fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Forrester stalks Romanov and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Romanov's face. Romanov staggers backwards, shaken.

That has opened up Igor Romanov's cut even more.
Forrester lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Romanov circles away quickly and effectively.
Forrester throws a head kick but Romanov moves out of range.
Forrester throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Romanov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Forrester tries to bum rush Romanov with a series of wild strikes but Romanov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Forrester feints a jab promting Romanov to slip. Forrester then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Romanov slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Forrester bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Romanov's head.
