Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuan Ip Mung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chuan Ip Mung!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mung displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fisher throws out the jab.
Mung tests Fisher's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fisher uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mung.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fisher.
Mung avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fisher lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mung has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mung and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Fisher throws a leg kick but Mung sees it coming and moves out of range.
Fisher takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Mung closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Mung lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Mung has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mung cracks Fisher with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Fisher takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The referee warns Fisher that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Mung postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Fisher in real trouble here! The ref calls for Fisher to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
