Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russell Joyner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Schim Fairbain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fairbain doesn't manage to clinch there - Joyner circles away.
Russell Joyner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fairbain smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Joyner swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Joyner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fairbain circles away quickly and effectively.

Joyner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fairbain moves away.

Joyner shoots for a double leg takedown but Fairbain sprawls well. He's pushed Joyner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Fairbain takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Joyner on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Joyner tries to get out of the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Fairbain stands up from mount. Strange move.
Joyner swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fairbain stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fairbain wants it to stay on the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fairbain enables Joyner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fairbain manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
