Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rasputin checks it well.
Rasputin tries to clinch up.

Rasputin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Black holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Black blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Black tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Rasputin blocks a body shot from Black.
Black landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Black throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Black tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Rasputin wants the takedown. Black is fighting it off but Rasputin persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Black's guard against the cage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rasputin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Black is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rasputin throws a sloppy head kick and Black moves out of range easily.
Oni Black is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rasputin throws a lazy head kick
and Black counters with a solid body kick.
Black throws a leg kick which misses Rasputin's front leg but catches the back leg as Rasputin tries to avoid it.
Rasputin tries for a takedown but Black sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rasputin is breathing heavily.
A punch lands to the side of Rasputin 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Black throws a jab when Rasputin was well out of range.
Black misses with a head kick.
Black lands a nice looking kick to the body. Rasputin takes a step back to recover.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rasputin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Black swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Grigoriy Rasputin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rasputin takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Black moves into range and clinches up with Rasputin.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Black digs a right hand into Rasputin's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rasputin's gas tank.

Black is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rasputin is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Black to the mat. Black regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Black has control of Rasputin's left arm, preventing Rasputin from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rasputin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rasputin forces his way into half guard.
Rasputin is trying to control the action in half guard but Black is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Black is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rasputin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Black manages to work his way to half guard, despite Rasputin's best efforts.
Rasputin is trying for a kimura here. Black looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Rasputin wins by kimura!
