Mies kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The way of the fist. Tysooni has chosen Cantina Song as his entrance music. Mikko Tysooni has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Muskeli Mies's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mies fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tysooni looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A left lands for Mies.
Tysooni keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tysooni throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mies misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tysooni.
Mies tries to work over Tysooni's front leg with a kick but Tysooni checks it.
Mies throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tysooni takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mies scores with a jab to the head.

It looks like Mikko Tysooni has been cut.
A left lands for Mies.
Mies avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mies tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Tysooni is able to avoid easily.

Mies throws a series of strikes that have Tysooni backpedaling.

That has opened up Mikko Tysooni's cut even more.
Mies lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tysooni clinches up against the cage.

Mies pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed right hand from Tysooni misses the target.
Tysooni's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mies connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tysooni scrambles back to his feet.

Muskeli Mies seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tysooni looks gassed!
Tysooni throws a hook but Mies blocks it.
Mies moves out of range of the body kick from Tysooni.

Tysooni bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mies misses with a wild body shot.
Tysooni takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

The cut above Mikko Tysooni's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Mies throws a body punch but Tysooni moves out of range.

Mies works over Tysooni's head and body with a nice combination.

and Mies counters with a three punch combo that has Tysooni backing up. Tysooni nods at Mies to acknowledge the strikes.

Tysooni is rocked!

Mikko Tysooni's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Tysooni seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Mies shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Tysooni is backing up but Mies catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Tysooni covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Mies Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
