Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kent Jenk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenk takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sloppy strikes from James. Those never looked like landing.

Jenk looks to land a combination but James avoids it well.
Jenk throws the left hand but James avoids the punch easily.
James loads up on a big right hand but Jenk slips the punch.
Jimmy James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

James scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

James wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Jenk shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

James bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jenk's guard.
James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jenk swivels though and keeps the full guard.

James is looking for a kimura but Jenk is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for James to get the leverage.

James is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jenk is just riding it out for now. James eventually gives up the hold.
Jenk is staying active underneath James, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

That was a close round but I would say that Jimmy James will probably get the nod.

Jenk jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… James is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by James and Jenk has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Jenk misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jenk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

James has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jenk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

James is really struggling to control Jenk but he's trying to hold on to the position.
