Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinnie Capone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenneth Shea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Capone's entrance music is The Godfather Theme Song. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Capone. Shea shrugs it off though.
Capone throws a sloppy head kick and Shea moves out of range easily.
Capone jabs at Shea's body.
Shea is looking to clinch.
Capone throws a right hand that Shea ducks under and follows up with a left that Shea also avoids with ease.
Capone blocks a low kick nicely.
A head kick by Shea misses
and Capone counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kenneth Shea seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Capone with that takedown attempt.
Capone throws a sloppy head kick and Shea moves out of range easily.
Capone goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Capone decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Capone throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Capone sitting and controlling from the half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shea is defending against the submission attempts here by Capone.
Capone is trying to control. Shea wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Capone thows a huge punch but Shea dodges it nicely.
Shea blocking the ground and pound attempt from Capone.
Capone keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Shea is looking to improve his position.
Capone is pressing down on Shea's thigh, looking to free his foot. Shea is holding on for now.
Still in half guard, Capone seems content to control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Shea keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Capone stalling.

Vinnie Capone has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Capone throws a head kick but Shea moves out of range.
Shea uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Capone.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Shea wants to clinch
letting Capone counter with a right hand.
Shea pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Capone shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Shea is not content to let Capone control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shea has hold of Capone's hands but Capone slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Capone tries to pass the half guard into mount. Shea knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Capone controlling the pace.
Capone's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Capone is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Shea is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
