PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Nycz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uber Alles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alles has chosen ZPM - Boia chi Molla as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paul Nycz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Uber Alles!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nycz blocks a head kick by Alles.
Alles misses the shot to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Alles checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Alles drops Nycz with a big left hand and mounts him. Nycz is in big trouble!
Nycz working to try and regain half guard.
Alles trying to control but Nycz is having none of it.

Alles is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Nycz to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Nycz shrugs it off.

Alles has control of Nycz's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nycz regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Alles working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Alles has hold of Nycz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Nycz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nycz avoids a series of strikes thrown by Alles.
Nycz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nycz tries to get out of the position.
Alles looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Nycz covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
