Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Arts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Borisov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Arts might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Face the Pain. Borisov has chosen Blunt - The Iron Maiden as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borisov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Arts takes one to the side of the head.
Arts is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Arts rushes Borisov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Borisov swings wildly with an uppercut but Arts uses good head movement to avoid it.

Arts pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Borisov scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Arts throws out a leg kick but Borisov moves out of range and Arts only half commits.
Borisov misses with a body shot.

Arts tries to clinch up.

Borisov ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Borisov keeps the fight on the outside.
Arts tries to clinch there but Borisov circles away.
Arts tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Borisov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Arts moves in looking to clinch but Borisov pushes him off.
Borisov's jab looks to have found its range, popping Arts under the eye.

Borisov paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Borisov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Borisov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Borisov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That kick from Arts tenderised Borisov's leg. Borisov is trying to keep his angry face on.
Arts tries to move into range but Borisov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Borisov scores with a hook to the body. Arts takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Borisov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Borisov lands with a cross.
Borisov is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Arts had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Borisov darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Arts steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Borisov.

Borisov dodges an elbow strike from Arts.
Arts prevents a body shot from Borisov.
Borisov lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Arts or not.

Arts breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Borisov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Arts looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Borisov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Arts napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Borisov lands a decent elbow from side control.

Borisov creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
