PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Boiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Anyukov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boiko comes to the ring accompanied by shinedown - diamond eyes. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anyukov slips under a jab from Boiko.
Anyukov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boiko as he jumps to the side.

It looks like Boris Anyukov has been cut.
Ivan Boiko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anyukov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boiko's waist but Boiko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anyukov off to one side.
Boiko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Anyukov has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Anyukov there as he acknowledges the shot.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Anyukov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ivan Boiko has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Anyukov is rocked!

The cut above Boris Anyukov's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Anyukov is holding his hands too far apart here. Boiko throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Anyukov is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
