Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nate Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cristiano Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Tupac Last Muthafucka Breathin. Machado has chosen Capítulo IV, Versículo 3 as his entrance music. Nate Diaz had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Cristiano Machado has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nate Diaz's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Diaz misses with a takedown
and Machado counters with a stiff right hand.
Machado misses with an attempted mid kick.
Diaz shoots and misses
and Machado counters with a nice uppercut.
Machado throws a left and a right that both miss

and Diaz counters with a shoot takedown. Machado fights it but they end up in guard.
Diaz won't allow Machado to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Machado wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Diaz's hips, looking to push off. But Diaz grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Machado screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
