The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caballero misses with a looping right.
Lehnsherr wants to clinch
enabling Caballero to counter with a crisp jab.
Caballero tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lehnsherr was well out of range. Poor timing from Caballero.

Lehnsherr gets a clinch.
Lehnsherr looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Lehnsherr has Caballero pressed against the cage, preventing Caballero from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Lehnsherr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lehnsherr wants to clinch up but Caballero keeps it at a distance.
Caballero lands a jab to Lehnsherr's midsection.

Caballero drops Lehnsherr with a beautiful combination! Lehnsherr stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Caballero is looking for the KO!

It looks like Erik Lehnsherr has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lehnsherr closes the distance and clinches.

Lehnsherr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Caballero misses with a hook.

Caballero clinches with his opponent.

Lehnsherr manages to break the clinch.
Lehnsherr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Caballero swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lehnsherr swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lehnsherr doesn't manage to clinch there - Caballero circles away.

Caballero moves into the clinch.
Lehnsherr tries a body shot but Caballero blocks it.

Lehnsherr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Caballero digs a good hook to Lehnsherr's body.
Lehnsherr is breathing heavily.
Caballero lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lehnsherr circles away quickly and effectively.
A jab from Caballero misses.

Caballero rushes Lehnsherr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lehnsherr is trying to push Caballero away but Caballero has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Caballero breaks the clinch.
Lehnsherr takes a body punch but keeps moving.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Caballero has managed to clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Caballero.
A left hand lands to the body for Caballero.
Caballero wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Caballero scores with a hook to the body.

Caballero's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Caballero cracks Lehnsherr with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lehnsherr looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Caballero finish him?
Oh Lehnsherr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Caballero is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Lehnsherr flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Lehnsherr is out cold! Caballero holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
