Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Jardine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Kirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jardine comes to the cage accompanied by WEED MAN. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jardine stalks Kirk and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kirk's face. Kirk staggers backwards, shaken.
Jardine throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jardine loads up on a big right hand but Kirk slips the punch.
Jardine tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Kirk counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jardine checks a low kick from Kirk.

Kirk drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kirk works over Jardine with some ground and pound from guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kirk throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jardine works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jardine manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kirk manages to get himself to full guard.

Jardine is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Chuck Jardine will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kirk keeps the fight on the outside.
Kirk throws a front kick aimed at Jardine's knee but Jardine avoids it well.
Kirk throws a wild body kick that Jardine sees coming a mile off.

and Jardine makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Some bone on bone action there as Jardine checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jardine wants to clinch up but Kirk keeps it at a distance.

Jardine tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kirk wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kirk swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jardine is now in Kirk's guard. A big mistake from Kirk there, giving up the dominant position!
Jardine seems to have got his legs back now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kirk bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jardine's guard.
