Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vandice Xaoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xaoz gets caught flat footed, as Hogan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hogan trying to control the position from guard on top but Xaoz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hogan lands a couple of elbows.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hogan landing with the ground and pound.
Xaoz keeping moving, preventing Hogan from controlling successfully.
Hogan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Xaoz wants to hit a switch here but Hogan passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Xaoz there!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Xaoz can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hogan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Xaoz tries to hold on but Hogan postures up.
Hogan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Xaoz is looking to escape.

Hogan breaks from Xaoz's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Hogan is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Xaoz is surviving well by controlling Hogan's body position as best he can.
The referee warns Xaoz that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Hogan slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Xaoz tries to break free.
Hogan lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Hogan has the hooks in. Xaoz is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Xaoz tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Hogan wants to work for an arm triangle but Xaoz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Xaoz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hogan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Xaoz is looking to control Hogan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Xaoz avoid being mounted?
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hogan passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Xaoz!
Xaoz is squirming around, avoiding Hogan's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Hogan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hogan fails with the takedown.
Hogan tries for a takedown but Xaoz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hogan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Xaoz as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Hogan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hogan wants to clinch.

Hogan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Xaoz keeps working.
Hogan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hogan is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Xaoz wants to improve his position but Hogan is controlling well.
Hogan stands up out of the half guard.
Hogan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Xaoz. That did some damage!
Paul Hogan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hogan tries to clinch up but Xaoz circles away and keeps his distance.
Hogan misses with a takedown
and Xaoz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Xaoz.
Hogan looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Xaoz throws and elbow that misses. Hogan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Xaoz's guard. Nice move by Hogan!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hogan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hogan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Xaoz, up you get!
Xaoz tries to clinch up but Hogan circles away and keeps his distance.
Xaoz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hogan shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hogan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hogan decides to stand and escape the position.
Hogan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Xaoz counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Hogan is trying to control but can't.
Xaoz not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Xaoz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hogan keeps working.
Hogan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Xaoz is working away from the top position though.
Hogan pushes Xaoz off and gets back to his feet.
Xaoz throws a shot from downtown. Hogan moves away and avoids it.
Xaoz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Xaoz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Xaoz swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hogan is now in Xaoz's guard. A big mistake from Xaoz there, giving up the dominant position!

A close second round but Vandice Xaoz will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Hogan clinches up against the cage.
Xaoz is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hogan pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Hogan has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Xaoz regains guard immediately.
Xaoz controls Hogan momentarily but Hogan frees himself.
Hogan forces his way into half guard.
Hogan lands with a punch from half guard.
Xaoz is trying to get back to full guard.
Hogan is tying to control. Xaoz wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hogan gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Xaoz darts in trying to clinch
and Hogan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Xaoz dips to his left and cracks Hogan with an uppercut!
Xaoz's corner calls for a 1-2. Xaoz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Xaoz feints and as Hogan raises his hands in defense, Xaoz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Xaoz is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hogan is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Hogan wants to stand and escape but Xaoz is having none of it.

Hogan thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Hogan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hogan looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Paul Hogan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Xaoz looking to pass the guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hogan rushes Xaoz and presses him up against the cage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hogan is trying to trip Xaoz. He has hold of a leg but Xaoz is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hogan persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Hogan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hogan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Xaoz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Vandice Xaoz.
I think Xaoz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
