Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between dont know (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Clooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). know comes to the cage accompanied by Diamonds are forever. Niko Clooten has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with dont know's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clooten keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Clooten clobbers know with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A combination from Clooten does no damage.
Clooten drops his hands momentarily and know takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Clooten looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

know scores with a one two! Clooten had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
know misses with a combination
and Clooten counters with a head kick. That will keep know thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

know rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Clooten moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Clooten drops know with a left and a right! Oh, know is hurt - Clooten dives into side control looking to finish!

know is bucking up trying to escape but Clooten cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
know tries to lock up and control but Clooten gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
know keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
know is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position.
know is desperately trying to improve his position but Clooten has a good base and remains in mount.
Clooten has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

know lands with a good body shot.

Clooten tries to clinch but know moves out of range.
Clooten uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by know.
know scores with a punch to the head.
know closes the distance but Clooten moves to the side
letting Clooten counter with a right hand.
The fighters circle momentarily. Clooten darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
know looks to score with a jab to the body but Clooten is just out of range.

know gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Clooten is breathing heavily.

know manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
know avoids the attempt from Clooten to control.
know tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

know has control of Clooten's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Clooten regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Clooten is squirming around, avoiding know's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

know goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Clooten is on top in guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as know holds on and takes a little breather.
know avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Clooten is looking to work some ground and pound but know has wrist control.

know is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Clooten jumps into side control!

Clooten is keen to just control but know is a slippery customer.

know moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Clooten slips a jab and a cross from know.
know fails to land with a series of punches.
Clooten slips a straight right by know.
know throws a right and a left that both miss.
Clooten throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
know tried to score with a low kick but Clooten checks it.
Clooten lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Clooten ducks under a wild hook from know.
The fight stays on the outside here - know looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sloppy strikes from know. Those never looked like landing.
know moves away from the strike by Clooten.
know swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Clooten moves into the clinch.
Clooten swings wildly with an uppercut but know uses good head movement to avoid it.
know lands with a short head shot on the inside.
know avoiding damage as Clooten throws knees to the body.
Clooten lands a hook that snaps the head of know backwards.
know tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Clooten managing to block the knees to the body from know.
Clooten has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. know is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
know tries a knee to the head but Clooten blocks it.

Clooten pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice shot lands for know.
dont know is winning the standup battle so far.
know changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Clooten takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Clooten throws a left and a right that both miss
and know counters with a lovely shot to the body.
know wants to clinch up but Clooten keeps it at a distance.
Clooten thows a leg kick but know checks it
and know counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
know misses with a head kick.
dont know seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
know bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Clooten takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
know misses with a few strikes there.
know looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
know shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Clooten eats them both and turns towards know to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

know throws a left that rocks Clooten and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! know dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Clooten regain composure!

know works to advance to full mount. Clooten defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Clooten is still in real trouble! Can know finish him?
know looking to control and managing it successfully.

know jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Clooten manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Clooten seems to have recovered his senses.
know in side control, just content to control the action for now.
