The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooh!!! Pitt has knocked Tar down with a huge combo! Pitt steps away and waves a wobbly Tar back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Tar is rocked!

It looks like Jack Tar has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Tar is still on wobbly legs! Can Pitt finish him?
Tar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pitt as he jumps to the side.
Tar doesn't manage to clinch there - Pitt circles away.
Tar seems to have recovered his senses.
Tar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pitt avoids it really well and circles away.
Tar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dirk Pitt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Tar.
Pitt batters Tar with a massive right followed by a huge left! Tar is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Pitt lands a final crushing right hand to drop Tar to the mat with a gruesome thud! Pitt is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
