Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roy Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by All My Life. Joe Man has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peters shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Man's guard.
Peters trying to control but Man is working from the bottom.
Man looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Peters gets to his feet - Man follows without any prompting.

Peters clinches with his opponent.

Man breaks the clinch.
Man avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Man with a lazy takedown attempt
and Peters counters with a head kick. That will keep Man thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Peters has closed the distance and engaged Man in a clinch.

Peters escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Man avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Roy Peters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Man shoots in looking for a takedown. Peters tries to sprawl out of it but Man keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Peters manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Peters clinches.

A nice left hand lands by Peters.
Man tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Peters smiles and moves away.
Roy Peters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Man.
Nice sprawl there from Man as Peters shoots in.
Man swats away the attempt to clinch by Peters.
Peters tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Man keeps the fight on the outside.
Peters wants to clinch up but Man keeps it at a distance.
Man misses with a takedown attempt
and Peters counters with a low kick, right behind Man 's knee.
Peters is looking to clinch but Man is avoiding it.

so Peters counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Man keeping moving, preventing Peters from controlling successfully.
Peters has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Peters stays in close to Man's body and controls the position.
Man is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Peters knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Man on the ground.
Man wants to pass to mount but Peters is defending the position.
Peters wants to get back to full guard.

Man is looking to stall here but Peters recovers full guard.
Man trying to control but Peters is working from the bottom.

Man drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Man seems to have locked his on tight now - Peters screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Man, as he picks up the win!
