This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gonzales manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cooper manages to get himself to full guard.
Gonzales wants to pass the guard but Cooper is keeping the position.

Cooper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gonzales. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gonzales has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Gonzales is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Cooper looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gonzales gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Cooper is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gonzales lets go of the hold and Cooper can pop his arm back in it's socket.
