The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
toral tries to kick Joe off but Joe keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Joe postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for toral to stand up.

toral misses with a takedown attempt
and Joe counters with a left and a right that stings toral.
Joe throws a right and a left that both miss.
toral throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Joe counters with a series of strikes. toral will be more careful next time no doubt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Joe wobbles toral with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Joe dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts toral to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
