The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan moves out of range of the leg kick from Carlson.
Khan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Carlson.

Carlson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Khan controls the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Genghis Khan was stalling too much, according to the referee.

and Khan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Carlson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Khan.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Khan digs a right hand into Carlson's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Carlson's gas tank.

Khan breaks the clinch.
Carlson throws a low kick but Khan moves out of range easily.
Khan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Carlson's head.

Khan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Khan cracks Carlson with a big elbow.

Khan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Khan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Khan has hold of Carlson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Carlson seems comfortable defending it but Khan has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Carlson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Carlson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Khan couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Genghis Khan!
