Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lions Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Bob Marley - Smoke Two Joints as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Head dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Head as Gracie shoots in.
Head misses with a looping left.
Head misses with a series of wild punches.
Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Head avoids it really well and circles away.
Gracie has a takedown stuffed.
Lions Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rio Gracie.

Gracie looks to land a strike but Head avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Head is on top in guard.

Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Head defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie is looking for a triangle here but Head uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Gracie fails to land the takedown.
Head throws a front kick aimed at Gracie's knee but Gracie avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie shoots in and drives through. Head sprawls well.

Head connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Head throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gracie on the side of the head.

It looks like Rio Gracie has been cut.
Rio Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A jab from Head misses.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Head scores with a decent looking hook.

Gracie fails to land the takedown.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Gracie moves out of range as Head strikes.
Gracie has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gracie there as he acknowledges the shot.
A combination from Head does no damage.
Head throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gracie sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Gracie shoots in but no luck this time.
Lions Head is winning the standup battle so far.
Head lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.
Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Head circles away.
Head pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Head misses with a double jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Rio Gracie's cut.
That's time! Head's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Head misses with a looping left.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Head sprawls well. Head wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.

Head drops Gracie with a left and a right! Oh, Gracie is hurt - Head dives into side control looking to finish!
Head has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gracie!
Gracie is desperately trying to improve his position but Head has a good base and remains in mount.

Head get's back to his feet.

Head fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Gracie to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Gracie looks to clinch but Head throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Gracie taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
