Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bateman fails with a takedown attempt.

Dux shoots in and bounces Bateman off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

Bateman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dux manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bateman has Dux in his guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dux accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Frank Dux showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Dux looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bateman with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bateman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dux gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dux stands up over Bateman, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Well Dux has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
