The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kane takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Erra avoids a punch combination nicely.
A jab from Erra misses.
Erra throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kane fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Kane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Erra uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kane.

Kane is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Erra's half guard.

Kane is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Erra is just riding it out for now. Kane eventually gives up the hold.
Kane wants to pass to mount but Erra is defending the position.

Kane throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kane thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Kane looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kane lands with a punch from half guard.

Erra makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Kane fails to land the takedown.
Erra misses with a body shot.
Kane slips under a jab from Erra.
Erra misses with a straight right.
Kane throws a head kick that misses.
Kane swings away with a body shot that misses
and Erra counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kane, right into the meat.
Erra is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Erra gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kane is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Kane works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Erra blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kane.
Kane passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Erra!
Kane fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
