Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Townsend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Townsend comes to the cage accompanied by Walk by Pantera. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Townsend is defended easily by Peterson.

Peterson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Townsend moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Peterson slaps away a takedown attempt from Townsend, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Townsend shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Peterson leaves Townsend with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Peterson misses with a series of wild punches.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Peterson, as that shot connected.
Oh Townsend is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Peterson catches Townsend napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Townsend to the canvas!
Peterson gets to his feet and stands over Townsend, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Townsend felt that one! Peterson unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Townsend from any more punishment!
