Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anton Alexandrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TONY THOMPSON (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, TONY THOMPSON!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
THOMPSON will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Horrible takedown by THOMPSON or perhaps it was just good defense by Alexandrov which made him look bad.
THOMPSON shoots in looking for a takedown. Alexandrov tries to sprawl out of it but THOMPSON keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Alexandrov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Anton Alexandrov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TONY THOMPSON.
Alexandrov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between THOMPSON's hands.

It looks like TONY THOMPSON has been cut.

THOMPSON shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

THOMPSON looks gassed!
THOMPSON looking to sit in guard and control but Alexandrov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Alexandrov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. THOMPSON swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Alexandrov gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Alexandrov stuffs the takedown attempt from THOMPSON. THOMPSON gets slowly back to his feet.

Alexandrov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. THOMPSON manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Alexandrov tries to free his leg and advance position but THOMPSON is retaining full guard.

Alexandrov drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Alexandrov seems to have locked his on tight now - THOMPSON screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Alexandrov, as he picks up the win!
