PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Buhawi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Watanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watanabe is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fight Music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watanabe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A looping hook to the body misses from Buhawi. Watanabe does a little dance to reset his feet.
Watanabe walks forward, straight into a front kick from Buhawi.
Watanabe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Buhawi lands with a slapping head kick.
Watanabe shoots in for a double leg but Buhawi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
This has been an exciting period of action!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Watanabe crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Buhawi - the referee stops the clock and Watanabe gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Buhawi. Watanabe manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Buhawi fakes the leg kick and cracks Watanabe in the body.
Buhawi loads up on a big right hand but Watanabe slips the punch.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Buhawi! Watanabe is out on his feet! Buhawi rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Watanabe is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Watanabe is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
