Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Nickatina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is In The Morning. Nickatina has chosen Andre Nickatina ~ Blood In My Hair as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Jenkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Nickatina!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickatina misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nickatina takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jenkins pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jenkins lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nickatina has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nickatina and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Nickatina closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jenkins is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Nickatina remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Nickatina goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jenkins turns into him and now he's in Nickatina's guard.

Jenkins feints and then cracks Nickatina's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nickatina down.

Nickatina shoots in for a takedown but Jenkins shows good takedown defense.
Steve Jenkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Nickatina.
Jenkins does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Nickatina stalling away here and it's allowed Jenkins to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Nickatina looking for a guillotine from mount but Jenkins is having none of it.
Jenkins wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Nickatina has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Jenkins's body.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
