The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
al Matador misses with a head kick.

Nahka moves into the clinch.
al Matador is pressed up against the cage. Nahka has hold of a leg and is looking to drag al Matador down to the mat. al Matador avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
al Matador misses with a hook.

Nahka has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nahka wants a takedown but no success here.
Nahka blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Nahka is trying to work for a single leg takedown but al Matador pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Robert al Matador has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eza Nahka.
Nahka is looking for a takedown up against the cage. al Matador gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Nahka throws a series of punches but al Matador avoids them all with ease.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, al Matador creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Nahka wants a takedown.

Nahka has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed al Matador clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
al Matador wants to get back to his feet.
al Matador just trying to survive but Nahka is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
