The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arona is looking to clinch.
Sheen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sheen misses with a hook.

Sheen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sheen showed some decent athleticism there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Arona instigates a clinch.
Sheen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Arona walks away with a smile on his face. Sheen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Arona moves in looking to clinch but Sheen pushes him off.

Arona pushes Sheen up against the cage in a clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Arona tries to stall but Sheen uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Arona manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Arona connects with a knee to the head.
Sheen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Arona pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Sheen looks gassed!

Sheen turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sheen manages to end up in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Arona is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sheen has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Arona has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sheen is working away from the top position though.

Well, if Sheen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sheen connects with a nice short shot to Arona's temple.

Sheen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Arona is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sheen's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Sheen duly obliges.

Arona is rocked!
Sheen drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Arona right on the button. Arona goes down! Sheen follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Sheen gets the win via TKO!
