Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheldon Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dr Dre - Under Pressure ft. Jay - Z - DETOX. Sheldon Penn told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aaron Alexander !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sheldon Penn!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn misses with a takedown
and Alexander counters with a straight right hand.
Penn shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Alexander looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Penn is looking to advance position but Alexander won't allow it.
Alexander pushes Penn off but Penn dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Penn looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Alexander is avoiding damage well.
Penn thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Penn tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Penn is trying to get an arm triangle but Alexander is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Penn is working to tighten is grip on Alexander 's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Alexander has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Penn is really squeezing tight and eventually Alexander passes out! Penn breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
