Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steven de Pina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gigi Ceausu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Gigi Ceausu enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ceausu misses with a two punch combination.
Ceausu swings for the body but de Pina moves out of range.
Ceausu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ceausu scores with a hook to the body. de Pina takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
de Pina looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
de Pina stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

de Pina gets caught flat footed, as Ceausu shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ceausu not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Ceausu passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Ceausu wants to lay and pray for a moment but de Pina keeps working.

Ceausu tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ceausu has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Ceausu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ceausu looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
de Pina keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Ceausu passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for de Pina!

Ceausu is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but de Pina is surviving well by controlling Ceausu's body position as best he can.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

de Pina avoids the body shot from Ceausu.
de Pina walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Ceausu is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Ceausu thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

de Pina wants to sweep here but Ceausu controlling him for the moment.

Ceausu postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! de Pina is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ceausu, into his guard.
Gigi Ceausu has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ceausu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ceausu is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! de Pina is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Gigi Ceausu!
