Samurus comes to the cage accompanied by Karate. Gracie has chosen Born To Win as his entrance music. Ryan Gracie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie keeps the fight on the outside.
Samurus ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Samurus clinches with his opponent.

Samurus 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Samurus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Samurus counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Samurus .

Samurus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Gracie keeps the fight on the outside.
Samurus is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gracie fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Samurus displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gracie throws out the jab.
Gracie changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Samurus is breathing heavily.
Samurus has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Samurus gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Demacious Samurus has been cut.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Gracie knocks Samurus out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
