The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Litton closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Carthew did well to prevent Litton getting side control.
Carthew on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Litton lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

It looks like Bobby Carthew has been cut.
Litton drops an elbow to the side of Carthew's head.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Litton is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Carthew is hurt! He's hurt bad - Litton fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Carthew from any more punishment! Congratulations to Litton! Great finish!
