Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Prince Vasquel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Phillips Bong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasquel's entrance music is Halo-Street Fighter. A fine choice. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Kevin Phillips Bong enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vasquel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Phillips Bong did well to prevent Vasquel getting side control.

Phillips Bong lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Vasquel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Phillips Bong's waist but Phillips Bong gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vasquel off to one side.

Vasquel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Phillips Bong avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Prince Vasquel. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Vasquel has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Vasquel there as he acknowledges the shot.
Vasquel doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Vasquel walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Phillips Bong works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
