The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie slips a straight right by Flair.
Gracie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Flair swivels and escapes.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Flair shows good takedown defense.
Flair misses with an uppercut.
Flair tries a low kick but Gracie avoids it.
Oooooh!!! Flair has knocked Gracie down with a huge combo! Flair steps away and waves a wobbly Gracie back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Forrest Gracie has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Flair stuffs the takedown.
Gracie shoots for a takedown but Flair saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gracie does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Gracie attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Flair misses the shot to the body.
Flair throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Flair connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Flair works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Gracie moves out of range as Flair strikes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gracie.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Forrest Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A big right from Flair misses.
Flair connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gracie momentarily.
Flair cracks Gracie with a right hand to the side of the head.
Flair lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Flair shows good takedown defense.
Flair connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Gracie throws a low kick but Flair moves out of range easily.
Flair checks a leg kick nicely.
Flair scores with a jab.
Solar Flair is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gracie moves out of range of the strikes.
Flair might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Gracie gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Flair tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Flair manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gracie throws an elbow but Flair slips to the side and avoids it well.

Gracie sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Flair is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Flair is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Gracie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

You can see the frustration on Flair's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gracie dives in and grabs Flair's left leg, looking for a takedown. Flair pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.
Flair lands a jab to the head.
Nice defenses there by Gracie.
Gracie shoots in and drives through. Flair sprawls well.
Flair checks the leg kick nicely there.
Gracie tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Flair is able to avoid easily.
Gracie takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Gracie wants to clinch up but Flair keeps it at a distance.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Flair feints a jab promting Gracie to slip. Flair then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gracie slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Solar Flair seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gracie is looking to chop away at Flair's legs.
Flair thuds a left hand into Gracie's body.
Flair digs a good hook to Gracie's body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Flair listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Flair lands with a hook. Gracie tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Flair darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nice shot lands for Flair.
Flair closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Gracie! Flair dives in looking to finish! Gracie is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
