Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bugs Bunny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mihail Korsanow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bunny has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Bugs Bunny had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunny shoots in but no luck this time.
Bunny is breathing heavily.
Korsanow throws a shot from downtown. Bunny moves away and avoids it.
Korsanow smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bunny misses with a series of wild punches.
Bunny lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Korsanow backs up against the cage.
Korsanow lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Bugs Bunny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Korsanow throws a big shot that misses.
Bunny fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
No joy there for Korsanow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Korsanow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bunny was well out of range. Poor timing from Korsanow.

Korsanow will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bunny tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Korsanow paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A right-left combo lands from Bunny.
Bunny takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Korsanow tries to bum rush Bunny with a series of wild strikes but Bunny uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Korsanow shoots in looking for a takedown. Bunny tries to sprawl out of it but Korsanow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bunny manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Korsanow shoots for a double leg takedown but Bunny sprawls well. He's pushed Korsanow's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bugs Bunny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mihail Korsanow.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bunny looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bunny bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Korsanow's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Korsanow counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

A lazy left from Bunny finds it's target.
No luck for Bunny with that takedown attempt.
Bunny comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Bunny feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
