The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker throws a combination. Hanma tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Baki Hanma has been cut.
Baker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Baker finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Baker.
Baker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hanma keeps working.
Hanma is looking for a sweep.
Hanma is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Baker off and has taken his back!

Hanma is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Baker knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Baker for a finish.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Hanma is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Baker defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Hanma has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Baker! Can he survive? No! He's out! Hanma gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
