Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
vazques tries to clinch but Lester is having none of it.
Lester looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
vazques tries to keep at a distance but Lester has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lester wants to break free but vazques has control.
vazques breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
vazques misses with a combination
and Lester moves into the clinch.
vazques jumps guard but Lester stands there with vazques around his waist. vazques gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
vazques manages to break the clinch.
Lester uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from vazques.
Lester closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
vazques goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lester prevents it.
vazques breaks the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lester.
Lester misses with a takedown attempt - vazques sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lester dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lester fails with the takedown.
manuel vazques has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Moe Lester.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lester shoots in looking for a takedown. vazques tries to sprawl out of it but Lester keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. vazques manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
vazques feints with a jab and clips Lester right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Lester is sent crashing into the canvas and vazques leaps in for the kill! Lester tries to get to his feet but vazques is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Lester is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). manuel vazques!
