The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Pak throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Pak lands with a hook. de Souza tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Edson de Souza has been cut.
de Souza attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
de Souza tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
de Souza shoots for a takedown but Pak saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Donk. Pak catches de Souza right on the button with a cross.
de Souza drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Pak thows a body shot but no joy.
Pak cracks de Souza with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Pak misses with a series of wild punches.
Pak on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
de Souza delivers a nice body kick.
Pak works de Souza's body with a nice hook.
Pak throws a big shot that misses.
Pak moves out of range as de Souza throws a body kick.
Pak throws a jab but it's blocked by de Souza.
Pak walks forward, straight into a front kick from de Souza.
de Souza uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pak.
Ho Sung Pak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

de Souza throws a front kick that sends Pak stumbling back into the cage.
de Souza bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

de Souza takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Pak misses with a looping left.
Pak lands with a nice body punch.

Pak drives through and clinches with de Souza against the cage.
de Souza lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Pak has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
de Souza throws an elbow but it's blocked.

de Souza breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pak is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! de Souza had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Pak ducks down and throws a hook to the body but de Souza moves away.
de Souza lands with a kick to the temple. Pak shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Pak on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by de Souza. de Souza obviously looking to wear him down.

Oh de Souza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

de Souza looks up at the clock. Bad move! Pak lands a right hand from hell, dropping de Souza. Pak pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
