Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between TJ Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Zappman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zappman stuffs the takedown.

Zappman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fernandez's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fernandez tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Zappman wants to pass the guard but Fernandez is keeping the position.

Zappman drops back looking for a leg! Fernandez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fernandez manages to kick Zappman off! Zappman jumps back into Fernandez's guard.
Zappman prevents Fernandez from getting back to his feet.
Fernandez wants to sweep but no luck.
Zappman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fernandez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Zappman drops back looking for a leg! Fernandez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fernandez manages to kick Zappman off! Zappman jumps back into Fernandez's guard.
Fernandez wants to sweep but no luck.
Zappman trying to control the position from guard on top but Fernandez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Zappman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zappman drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Zappman as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Fernandez screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Zappman! Nice submission victory there!
