The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquez pushes Owen up against the cage in a clinch.
Marquez is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Owen pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Marquez pushes off an throws an elbow but Owen leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Marquez is looking to break free of the clinch but Owen has double underhooks.
Owen tries to pull guard but Marquez won't allow it.
Marquez manages to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Owen trying to control but Marquez is working from the bottom.
Marquez is working an open guard so Owen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Owen takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Patrick Owen has been cut.
Marquez misses with a jab, cross combination.
Owen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Marquez.
Marquez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Owen.
Owen closes the distance looking to clinch
and Marquez counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Owen looks gassed!

Marquez connects with a nice looking jab.
A shot to the liver by Marquez. Beautiful body shot.
Marquez lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Owen goes down and covers up as Marquez starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
