Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between andei andei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and shami medina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). medina has chosen man on fire as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
medina tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
medina tries to clinch but andei is having none of it.

andei shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. medina is trying to defend but andei finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
andei is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
andei lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

medina has one foot on andei's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

andei clinches up with medina and pushes him back against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A quick uppercut on the inside from medina.
medina is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
A body shot lands from andei.
andei escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
andei closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
medina is pressing down on andei's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
medina tries to land a sweep but no joy.
andei throws a strike but medina rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

medina gets to his feet. andei looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
medina closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
medina stands up and we're back to a striking position.
andei shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
medina misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
