Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tonyo Kidlat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RJ Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tonyo Kidlat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, RJ Dias!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kidlat tests Dias's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kidlat looks to land a combination. Dias sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Dias steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kidlat. That one must have hurt.
Dias looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oooooh!!! Kidlat has knocked Dias down with a huge combo! Kidlat steps away and waves a wobbly Dias back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kidlat.
Tonyo Kidlat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kidlat misses with a head kick.
Kidlat keeps Dias at a distance using the push kick.
Dias on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Kidlat lands with a kick to the temple. Dias shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Kidlat swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kidlat digs a good body shot into Dias's ribs.
Dias has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kidlat.
Good leg kick by Kidlat there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

enabling Kidlat to counter with a crisp jab.
Kidlat throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dias takes a kick to the side of the head.
Dias shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kidlat plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Dias shoots in looking for a takedown. Kidlat tries to sprawl out of it but Dias keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kidlat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dias shoots in and drives through. Kidlat sprawls well.
Tonyo Kidlat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of RJ Dias.

Kidlat moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Dias is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kidlat sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kidlat tries a head kick but it misses.
Dias is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kidlat is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Dias.
Dias shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kidlat as he jumps to the side.
Kidlat leaves Dias with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Kidlat counters with a head kick. That will keep Dias thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Dias tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kidlat paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Dias moves into the clinch.
Nice elbow from Dias.

Dias ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dias no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Dias looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kidlat is one step ahead there.
Dias lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kidlat!

Dias is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Kidlat throws a sloppy head kick and Dias moves out of range easily.
Dias shoots in for a takedown but Kidlat shows good takedown defense.

Dias closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kidlat circles away.
Kidlat moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dias shoots in and drives through. Kidlat sprawls well.
Kidlat chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dias can pounce on him.

Kidlat avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kidlat looks to land a body kick but Dias moved away.
Dias fails with the takedown.

Dias drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Let's hope that Dias has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Kidlat is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here.
Kidlat pushes Dias away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dias gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by RJ Dias.
Dias lands a high kick!
A head kick from Dias lands but Kidlat takes it in his stride.
Dias tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kidlat swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dias shoots in for a double leg but Kidlat sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kidlat is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dias can do to turn this around?
Dias changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kidlat tries to avoid it but Dias manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kidlat to the ground. Kidlat escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Kidlat as Dias shoots in.
Kidlat lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dias holds on and takes a little breather.
Dias's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up. RJ Dias was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Dias tries for a takedown but Kidlat sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dias closes the distance and clinches up with Kidlat, looking for a takedown. Dias pushes Kidlat against the cage but Kidlat circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kidlat misses with a two punch combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

RJ Dias showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Dias shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kidlat is looking for a sweep. Dias is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dias stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Kidlat to get to his feet.
Dias shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kidlat sprawls well. Kidlat wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dias gets slowly back to his feet.
Dias looks to throw the jab but Kidlat is out of range.
Dias shoots for a takedown but Kidlat saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kidlat throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Dias.
Dias shoots in but no luck this time.
Kidlat throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dias stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Dias fails with an attempt to clinch.

Dias feints and as Kidlat raises his hands in defense, Dias changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Dias stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Kidlat swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dias blocks the body kick.

Dias closes the distance and clinches.
Dias goes for a takedown attempt but Kidlat pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dias closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kidlat circles away.
Tonyo Kidlat is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kidlat lands a nice looking kick to the body. Dias takes a step back to recover.
Kidlat misses with a combination

and Dias holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Kidlat trying to move into half guard but instead Dias has managed to sweep!
Dias trying to control the position from guard on top but Kidlat is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dias stays in close to Kidlat's body and controls the position.

Dias gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Dias tries to clinch but Kidlat is having none of it.

Dias shoots in and drives through. Kidlat sprawls well.
Kidlat leaves Dias with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kidlat fails to land with a series of punches.
Kidlat tries to land a front kick but Dias steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A head kick by Dias misses
and Kidlat counters with a one-two to the body.
Kidlat keeps Dias at a distance using the push kick.
Kidlat drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Dias has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Kidlat.
Dias tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kidlat swivels and escapes.
Dias thows a left - swing and a miss!
Dias wants to clinch.
Kidlat scores with a head kick. Dias tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

And that's the end of the fight!
RJ Dias comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Dias has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
