Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kos Pellegrino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gravy Train (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pellegrino's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Nas - Hate Me Now. Gravy Train has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kos Pellegrino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gravy Train!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pellegrino leaves Train with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Train on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Pellegrino clinches up with Train and pushes him back against the cage.
Train wants a takedown.
Train with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Pellegrino lands a nice elbow from the clinch.


It looks like Gravy Train has been cut.

Train is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Train ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Train no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Pellegrino stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Train swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Train throws his legs up looking for a submission but Pellegrino uses it to pass to side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Pellegrino stands up and beckons Train to his feet.
Train on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pellegrino.
Train shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pellegrino sprawls well. Pellegrino wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Train gets slowly back to his feet.
Kos Pellegrino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gravy Train.

Train shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pellegrino stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pellegrino wants it to stay on the feet.

Pellegrino throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Train chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pellegrino can pounce on him.
Pellegrino fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Train has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Train stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pellegrino.

Train takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gravy Train is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Pellegrino lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Train misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Train tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Pellegrino connects with a leg kick. Train looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Train shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pellegrino as he avoids it easily.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
