Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Christian Soendergaard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aleksandr Vakhrushev!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vakhrushev ducks under a wild hook from Soendergaard.
Vakhrushev tries to clinch but Soendergaard is having none of it.
Soendergaard feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Soendergaard wants to control from the top but Vakhrushev keeps moving.
Vakhrushev is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Soendergaard trying to control but Vakhrushev is working from the bottom.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Soendergaard is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Soendergaard trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Soendergaard throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vakhrushev works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Soendergaard passes Vakhrushev's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Soendergaard moves into full mount! Vakhrushev won't be happy about that!
Vakhrushev is squirming around, avoiding Soendergaard's attempts to control the action.
Soendergaard postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Vakhrushev looks a forlorn figure.
Soendergaard trying to control but Vakhrushev is having none of it.
Soendergaard takes Vakhrushev's back.
Soendergaard working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Vakhrushev is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Soendergaard has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Vakhrushev taps out!
