PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Falcone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Falcone comes into the arena with BLACK HAWK DOWN blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Bruno Falcone has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bruno Falcone seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falcone moves into range and connects with a jab.

It looks like Carlos Lima has been cut.

Lima feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Falcone is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lima cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Lima pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Lima is landing with some decent strikes but Falcone is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Lima loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Falcone scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Lima land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Lima stands and salutes the crowd.
