Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Everett Dante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Down Low (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dante comes to the cage accompanied by Dont Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult. Low is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bring The Pain. Down Low will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dante shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Low's guard.
Dante could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Low looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Low is trying to control the position but Dante postures up.
Low throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Dante won't allow Low to sweep him here.
Dante passes Low's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Low looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Dante is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Low is just riding it out for now. Dante eventually gives up the hold.

Low flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Dante is pressing down on Low's thigh, looking to free his foot. Low is holding on for now.
Dante is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Low doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dante.
Dante is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Low gets back to full guard.
Dante might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dante avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Low working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dante doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dante manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Low decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Low thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dante's head.

Dante pushes a forearm under Low's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Low is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
