Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kid Bronco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Areli Durga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durga is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Godsmack - Voodoo. Areli Durga is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronco fails with the takedown

and Durga counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bronco!
Durga controlling the pace for now.
Bronco is trying desperately to improve position.
Bronco wants to hold on but Durga pushes him away.
Bronco regains half guard.
Bronco trying to control here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Durga tries to stand and escape but Bronco actually recovers to full guard.
Durga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bronco. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bronco thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Bronco controls Durga momentarily but Durga frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bronco is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Durga controls from within his opponent's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bronco is looking to stand up but Durga isn't so interested in that idea.

Areli Durga has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Bronco shoots and misses

so Durga counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bronco trying to strike off his back.
Bronco looking for a sweep. Not yet Bronco, not yet.

Durga gets to his feet - Bronco follows without any prompting.

Bronco doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Durga counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kid Bronco. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Durga controlling the action here.
Let's hope that Durga has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Bronco is trying to control but can't.

Bronco is looking to regain half guard here but Durga keeps moving and retains side control.

Durga stands up and we're back to a striking position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Durga lands a big head kick that sends Bronco tumbling to the mat! Durga takes a step backwards and waves Bronco back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Kid Bronco has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Durga closes the distance and clinches.
Durga working the clinch nicely. Bronco is working for position but Durga cracks him with a big knee to the head! Bronco crumples up against the cage and Durga lands two more shots before the ref can save Bronco! This one is all over!
