Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's entrance music is Blood And Thunder - Mastodon. A fine choice. Jacob Hunt told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Hunt misses
and Silva connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hunt throws a lazy head kick
and Silva counters with a straight right hand.
Hunt throws a lazy head kick
and Silva cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

enabling Silva to counter with a crisp jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hunt sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Silva moves into the clinch.
Hunt gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Silva.

Silva breaks the clinch.
Hunt throws a head kick that misses
and Silva counters with a huge left! Hunt is in big trouble! He's backing up but Silva isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hunt from any more damage. A dominating finish by Silva!
