Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deni Miljevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake OBrien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miljevic's entrance music is Gonna Fly Now. A fine choice. OBrien has chosen Fire Work as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from OBrien.
Miljevic wants to clinch.

Miljevic tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Miljevic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice sprawl there from Miljevic as OBrien shoots in.

Miljevic is trying to get back to full guard.

OBrien is looking for a kimura but Miljevic is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for OBrien to get the leverage.
OBrien is nestled in close to Miljevic, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Miljevic is trying to defend against the ground and pound but OBrien scores with a couple of nice shots.

OBrien looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

OBrien is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Miljevic has managed to free his arm - good work.

Miljevic is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Miljevic is pressing down on OBrien's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
OBrien trying to control but Miljevic is working from the bottom.

Miljevic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for OBrien on the ground.
Miljevic controls OBrien momentarily but OBrien frees himself.
Miljevic is breathing heavily.
OBrien wants to control from the top but Miljevic keeps moving.

OBrien drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and OBrien jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Let's hope that OBrien has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

OBrien bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

OBrien has an Americana. Miljevic didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! OBrien is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if OBrien hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
